Aloha!
My name is Devin Shaw Kealohapumehanaokalani McMackin Sr.
I am a resident of Keaukaha homestead and have lived here in Hilo off and on, since my childhood. I grew up in a traditional home with my mother and father who taught me that the values of each individual matters. I am the proud father to four children, two of which live here in Keaukaha with my beautiful bride Danielle and I. I am a veteran of the wars in the middle east, as a soldier on active duty, Go Army. Where I proudly served to the best of my abilities. I am also a member of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I , Heiau o Mamalahoa, here in Hilo.
In all things I have always tried to place my best foot forward and improve the standards and lives of those under my stewardship. This I have accomplished with communication. Really getting in the lives of those around me to see where and how I may assist ,if not uplift those people.
Through Aina based solutions we can :
• Tackle Affordable Housing issues
-Implement more comprehensive homeless outreach and assistance programs.
•Update and Revamp education laws and policies to improve the current issues we have.
•Working on other sources of economic self sustainability
-more focused on Aina based business.
•Moving into the future with improved renewable energy resources that are Aina focused, and affordable to the average Joe.
-Connecting with Na Kapuna gone and present we have learned and accomplished these things.
By implementing legislation we can perpetuate our people into the future.
So during this General Election please consider Voting for me for your District 2 State House Represenative here in Hilo, Waiakea, Panaewa and Keaukaha.
